Winter 2020 SEASON REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

The Sabre Hockey Association was originally founded as the Naperville Hockey League, Inc. on June 22nd, 1971, and has been growing ever since. Offering competitive hockey opportunity at the Central States Level, NIHL level, and Northwest Hockey League we have expanded our programs to include our very own Sabre Developmental In House Hockey League.
  
YOUTH DEVELOPMENTAL HOCKEY LEAGUE - This is a league designed for players born in  2005, 2006, 2007, 2008’s, 2009's & 2010s who are new to the sport or who cannot commit to the time demands of other leagues. For birth years , 2011, 2012 & 2013 we recommend you register for the Jr. Sabres In shouse at the Sabre Hockey Club at www.sabrehockey.com .  The YDHL In House League will consist of a skills session on Saturday mornings and games being played on Sunday mornings, with all ice times being held at theAll Seasons Ice Rinks and against players only enrolled in the In House League. There will be two separate seasons offered.

What to Expect and registration steps......

STEP ONE

Registering for the league - Please make sure you fill out the registration form completely.

STEP TWO

Jersey Ordering-  To ensure that Jersey and Sock orders can be recieved in timely manner  must be completed by no later than the 18th of September. If registraion is completed later than September 18th, we can not ensure that you will recieve your order on time. A sizing chart will be presented during registration. If you are unsure about the correct size that you need, please go to B&R Sports Pro Shop at All Seasons Ice Arena in Naperville, IL. They will have samples for you to try on. If registration is done by the 18th of September, Jerseys are set to arrive by the third weeked of October. CAUTION!!!! If the size you ordered is incorrect, you are responsible for ordering and paying for a replacement, NOT YDHL or its staff, so be sure you have the correct size upon registration.  

STEP THREE

You will be notified around 1 week before evaluaton day of the time slot you will participating on for the first day. This will also be posted on the website.

STEP FOUR

Evaluation: DAY 1 - DATE: TBA. At that time you will arrive to the rink 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to your assigned slot. You will then check in and you will recieve your evaluation #. During the initial 2 ice slots coaches will be evaluating the participants in order to place them on the best team for their skill level.   This is hockey at its best, no pressure and plenty of fun while learning the game and developing skills.

STEP FIVE

 After Evaluaton weekend, rosters will be solidfied and  posted online. Schedule will then be posted under your team page for the rest of the season.
