DMV Prospects Tournament Teams
Each year we assemble invitation-only teams to compete in the top spring and summer showcase events around 
the country as the DMV Prospects. We wenter as many teams in as many age groups as we have players, BUT we will not sacrifice quality and just take anyone’s money to go up and have a bad experience. We want to compete. We want to show the hockey world that the DMV has kids who can play and get our players the exposure to higher-level coaches and scouts they deserve and need. We send teams to showcases in U20, U19, U18 and U16 age brackets, and last year we were awarded teams in the prestigious Hockey Night in Boston showcase at the Junior High (rising 8th and 9th graders), Sophomore (rising 10th graders) and Major (rising 11th and 12th graders and postgrads) age levels. We compete in HNIB as Capital District, and there will be a selection "festival weekend" held sometime in April or May at an area rink to evaluate players for all three teams.
Our first tournament team ever compted in the 19U Division of the OneHockey AAA tournament in Aston, Pa. three summers ago (actually it was our second team, but the first time we had the website up and running).

Roster
From that first team, three players (Lowe, Shanley, Gilroy) have moved on to play NCAA D3 hockey. One player went on to play in the Tier 2 NCDC (Lowe). Six players went on to play in the EHL (Hinkson, Gilroy, Shanley, Young, Pisani, Bjornlund). Four players went on to play ACHA D1 (Cardellicchio, Bozhko, Pellegrino, Dexter). And one player went on to play USPHL Premier (Smith).

We charge one fee for each tournament, but showcase team spots can be purchased for multiple events and included in larger packages or customized membership packages at a reduced per-event price. Some packages are included below, but if you would like to create your own customized package and add some other items please email us at DMVProspects@gmail.com.
In addition, we partner with PVAHA and DeMatha High School Head Coach Tony MacAulay in selecting a team of local high school junior and seniot all-stars called Team DMV (formerly TEAM DC) to compete the USA Hockey-sponsored national showcase called America's Showcase St. Louis each April in St. Louis.
As mentioned previously, we also send three teams to one of the Northeast’s longest-running and most-respected showcase programs, Hockey Night in Boston. A tryout “festival” weekend will likely be held locally May to pick these teams, which will include a Junior High Team (rising 8th & 9th graders), a Sophomore Team (rising 10th graders) and a Major Team (rising 11th & 12th graders w/postgrads). More information will be posted about tryout dates, times and registration at a later date.

Our DMV Prospects Showcase Guarantee
DMV Prospects has been creating a network of REPUTABLE scouts and coaches from REPUTABLE junior teams and leagues over the past four years, and those will be the people that we will be exposing and introducing our players to along with NCAA and ACHA college and New England Prep School programs. We GUARANTEE that we will reach out to coaches and scouts in our network – as well as others of interest to our players – prior to each showcase event and that coaches and scouts will come to watch our teams play. No other spring/summer showcase program will spend the time we spend trying to get our players exposed to the right organizations.
